A Day at the Zoo — Learning Through the Lens

As a student of Shuttercraft Academy, I joined an outdoor practical photography class at the Bangladesh National Zoo in Mirpur, Dhaka. We spent the entire day exploring different areas of the zoo, observing wildlife, people, and everyday moments. The experience gave me an opportunity to practice composition, framing, perspective, natural light, and storytelling while capturing the atmosphere and character of the environment.

I photographed the entire series as part of my practical coursework, experimenting with wildlife photography, environmental portraits, candid moments, and creative framing. I focused on using available light and surroundings to create depth, mood, and visual narratives while documenting the day-long learning experience.
